Leading Consumer Health Company
Core & Company helped a world leading consumer health company co-create their Scandinavian growth strategy; defining focus, increasing presence and outperforming competition.
A world leading consumer Health Company experienced fluctuating sales, changing legislation, and increasing pressure from competitors, customers and consumers. The Scandinavian business unit needed a clear strategy defining focus and how to differentiate themselves in the market. Furthermore, the company had made a large acquisition making it even more important to have a clear and aligned strategy for the years to come.
“Core & Company helped us set a framework and see opportunities that we previously had not prioritized nor considered to hold much potential. We now have much greater focus, and more importantly my team is highly engaged. We are all standing behind our growth strategy that significantly will outperform the market”. General Manager, Scandinavia
How Core & Company Helped
Core & Company teamed up with the management team and a dedicated internal group of key employees. Together they analyzed the main challenges and opportunities through structured market analysis, customer & consumer insight, development of business cases and road maps for the future, analyzing in-organic growth, implementing thorough target screening and a thorough analysis of in-licensing opportunities.
Through a range of workshops, Core & Company helped develop a brand new ambition, prioritized opportunities, and encouraged a change in direction to differentiate further from competition and significantly outgrow the market.
What Came Out of It
The growth strategy motivated the entire Scandinavian organization and gave everyone a feeling of full ownership for the journey ahead. Within the first 12 months after the co-creation of the strategy, Core’s customer has outperformed the market with a growth rate that is 3 times higher. Furthermore, the Scandinavian business unit has outperformed a number of other much larger European units in the company.
