In collaboration with CORE & COMPANY, Danske Spil redefined their HR department, developed a new HR- Strategy and Service Delivery Model.

THE SITUATION

After the liberalization of the Gaming Industry, the Danish government owned gaming company – Danske Spil – faced increased competition and needed to ramp their ability to attract talents. The big challenge was: how to move FORWARD under the new market conditions with the right organizational configuration and talent.

HOW CORE & COMPANY HELPED

In collaboration with CORE & COMPANY, Danske Spil redefined their HR department, developed a new HR- Strategy and Service Delivery Model. In close collaboration with the Head of HR and CFO, CORE & COMPANY designed and executed a HR Strategy Process that enabled Danske Spil’s HR department to redefine its role; from personnel office to strategic business partner.
CORE & COMPANY delivered proven tools and methods to run an effective and engaging HR Strategy Process.

  • Development of a workforce centric HR Service Delivery Model
  • A 3 year HR Capability Release Roadmap

Key part of the HR Strategy Process was the engagement approach targeted towards Danske Spil’s Executive team, to enable a more strategic people dialogue and solid buy in to the new direction for HR In Danske Spil.

WHAT CAME OUT OF IT

The HR Strategy Process redefined the perception Danske Spil Executives and employees had of the HR department. The shift towards a Strategic Business Partner, taking an end-to-end responsibility for Strategic Business Processes such as Organizational Re-configuration, Talent Attraction, Talent Development, and Strategic Sparring with Danske Spil Executives has proved valuable to Danske Spil.
